Today is my rest day. I am already ancy and thinking about going to CrossFit Loudon-Dulles. I know not much of a rest day. I have a really hard time taking a rest day. I know my body needs the rest but I feel so much better mentally and physically after I workout. The dilemma right now is do I drive out to Dulles tonight and tomorrow morning? The drive is about 35-40 minutes with absolutely no traffic, which never happens. The more I think about it I think I am going to go for a nice long run tonight. I have not run all week and the weather couldn't be better.
This morning my Zone breakfast was a bit off. I volunteer at a Kitchen most Fridays and cook breakfast for about 200 homeless people. We don't really cook super healthy and its tough not to eat the leftovers. I ended up eating 2 cups of scramble eggs which had some milk in them, then I had a piece of blueberry pie. The crust was graham cracker so I guess that is better than something else. I don't think there was any thing added to the pie other than blueberries. I got home and had 3 Carb blocks of Oatmeal with some peanut butter. So a quick summary would be 7 blocks of carbs (ouch!) 4 blocks of protein from the eggs and 4 blocks of fat/peanut butter. Not terrible but definitely not balanced.
