Laruen went with me out to Dulles Saturday morning. Tom was coaching the class and brought out some unused equipment, 'wheel walks'. Basically they are 10 inch wheels with spokes out the side that have pedals connected for your feet, this allows you to essentially wheel-borrow by yourself. This was the WOD
5 Rounds for time
10 push press 35# Dumbbells
Wheel Walk 20 feet
10 double unders or 30 single jump ropes
Wheel Walk back 20 feet
I went in a heat with Mike and Japeth. Mike was the only one who could do Dble Unders, he took an early lead and finished first. Japeth beat me by a few seconds. I was tired and it was a good sweat but not a really hard workout, probably lasted 10-12 minutes. The transition was really tough and in the middle we realized it was easier to put the wheels on without shoes.
Lauren and I ended up running 3miles or so at a really good pace once we got back to her place. It was really hot so that made the run even tougher, but good to run at Lauren's pace.
After the WOD at CF Dulles, a few of the coaches and members had a additional workout. Eat a dozen cake donuts for time. Not Krispy Kreme light fluffy donuts but heavy flavored cake donuts. 2 of the guys bowed out early and it was between Tom and Anna. It came down to the end and Anna tried but ended up puking in the bucket. I could have never done that, hilarious and disgusting. I think it to Tom 24 min.
