Crossfit Loudon-Dulles was doing Fight Gone Bad on Saturday morning so thought about doing something in rock creek. Friday the mainsite had 30 muscle-ups for time and I have my rings so thought why not. I still have a really hard time maintaining my false grip when attempting multiple consecutive muscle ups so decided it may make sense to do individuals. I have never done this WOD before and wanted to get through it and set a benchmark. Then I can work on the false grip and improve on that time. I was able to get through the first 10 in about 3 minutes, not too bad. I may have had only 1-2 failures. As I got close to 20, it got really tough. There were a few times where I had 3 failures between reps. I would try to get off the rings shake my arms out and focus my energy. I got through my 30 muscle ups in 13:30. I know that I can improve on this and plan to, by doing this WOD every or every other Saturday morning. At least I say that now.
